National Poetry Foundation - Children's
This group selects a National Childrens Poet Laureate and sponsors every Friday as poetry day in the children's book blog world. The first National Children's Poet Laureate was Jack Prelutsly(2006-2008) and the current one is Jacqueline Woodson (2016-2018). Others were Mary Ann Hoberman (2008-2011),  J. Patrick Lewis (2011-2013), and Kenn Nesbitt (2013-2016).  The site  includes links to a poetry archive and suggested collections for schools and libraries.
